What are the benefits of using your services over pursuing the matter independently?
You get the services of a solicitor/barrister without any upfront fees. When we win his fees are paid by the bank. If we don’t win you owe him nothing. He is also very well informed on the law in this area whereas any other solicitor would probably have to research the subject first, which would be another added cost to you.
Can you outline all your commissions and costs involved in pursuing the matter.
25% or $50 - whichever is the greater plus a one off administration fee of $29.95. Most claims are paid without going to court, however, if it is necessary to take legal action a court filing fee of $116 must be paid by you. We would seek your approval before any action is commenced.
Are there other costs that may be incurred from other sources?
Our fee is 25% + GST and a one off, non refundable, admin fee of $29.95.
Do you need my statements?
In order to start the process, we need a list of fees. These will be shown on your statements. You can request statements from your bank, but most will charge a fee for this. Many banks allow you to download your account history free of charge if you have Internet Banking. Once you have calculated an accurate list of fees you can upload this when you register your claim, using the spreadsheet, which will speed up the process.
