The Process

How to Register

To start the process rolling we will need the following information :

  • your name and address
  • the name and address that appears on your bank account, credit card or other account
  • the proper name of the financial institution and its contact address
  • a spreadsheet if you have one showing list of fees and charges for past 6 years which you can upload . You can download a blank spreadsheet here
  • depending on the account, your BSB and account number, credit card details, mortgage or other details
  • You can then register here and a solicitor will start representing you.
  • Registered clients can log in to their account and follow progress of the claim.

After You Have Registered

The first stage is for a lawyer, acting on your behalf, to send the bank a Notice of Demand to request payment of your refund. Your Bank might or might not pay at this time, this is a policy decision for your Bank.
